Having been a photographer for many years,a lot of the time specialising in still life, I realised that the keen amateur doesn't have access to equipment that I was using. I wondered if, because we have turned to digital cameras and the possibility to change white balance, which means that any type of light may be used , whether it would be possible to use lights found around my house to shoot still life to a professional standard. The answer was yes! There is no need for expensive lighting to shoot still life, it's just a matter of knowing how.
This lesson is an introduction to show you a few tips and the things you may need to help you with studio shots ,it's an easy and inexpensive technique that opens up still life photography to all.
